How you will make an impact
- Supporting attorneys and staff within the practice groups department,specifically class actions, bankruptcy and employment discrimination matters, contract law, construction law, tort law, securities regulations, labor law, prisoners’ rights, election law, license revocations, banking and constitutional law. In addition to its defense functions, the Bureau routinely prosecutes certain types of proceedings such as actions to enforce labor laws and actions to enforce licensing laws.
- Analyze and summarize legal documents
- Correspond with clients and the counsel for the opposing side
- Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents
Requirements – First-rate academic credentials and references- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed
- Licensed attorney
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
- Proficiency in torts
- Expertise in litigation
- Solid understanding of bankruptcy
- Foundational knowledge in Mass Tort
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
