Job Description

The Senior Director of Rebate Forecasting has responsibility for models, assumptions, analytics, and strategy used in rebate forecasting for RFPs across multiple segments and lines of business. This role leads the roadmap for proactive enhancements and progress as the healthcare landscape, drug pipeline, and regulatory environment evolves. This role will represent the function as a pricing and rebate subject matter expert when collaborating with various stakeholders across actuarial, underwriting, sales, and trade to drive continuous improvements and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

+ Leads a team of actuaries and non-actuaries to research, develop, test, and implement complex modeling and assumptions for pharmacy rebate forecasting

+ Manage governance of model assumptions including engaging with stakeholders who provide cross-functional inputs

+ Provide training and oversight for self-service components of models to underwriters

+ Drive model transparency, documentation, and visualization of insights

+ Provide comprehensive and relevant financial analysis and reporting to Prime management and clients

+ Champion and lead standardization of new best practice processes, procedures, templates related to rebate forecasting

+ Conduct performance reviews, quarterly check-ins and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals, including quality and process improvement efforts

+ Manage team and consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders

+ Other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

+ 10 years of relevant work experience, to include:

+ 5 years of managed care or related PBM experience

+ 3 years of experience in the areas of project management, quality improvement and business analysis

+ 7 years of leadership/people management experience

+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

+ Strong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution and listening

+ Action oriented ability to identify and implement opportunities

+ Ability to manage multiple, complex project simultaneously without compromising quality

Preferred Qualifications

+ Member of Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA)

+ Expert in various coding, statistics, analytics, and/or visualization tools (SQL, GCP, SAS, Tableau)

+ Working knowledge of pharmacy pricing regulations

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

+ Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

+ Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

+ AVP Rebate Forecasting and Underwriting

Potential pay for this position ranges from $144,000.00 – $230,200.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
