Job Description

Program Overview

The program consists of four core rotations (6 months each) that will span multiple teams within the U.S. & Canada (USCAN) Strategy and Marketing organization. You will gain first-hand experience working alongside mentors on real-life projects, develop critical skills to jump-start your career, and build a network by collaborating with company leaders and teams across the organization. You will have the opportunity to learn how each team operates and will become fluent in their respective tools and processes and gain a broad experience in key marketing strategies and tactics, by developing customer-centric marketing programs.

Once the four rotations have been successfully completed, strategic employment opportunities exist for you within GE HealthCare’s USCAN marketing organization.

Rotation Overview

Each rotation is intentionally designed and offers a range of engaging learning experiences, including cross-functional assignments, leadership opportunities, career planning, and networking.

Potential Rotation Experiences:

Digital Marketing

+ Develop multi-channel marketing strategies that produce measurable results.

+ Marketing strategy and activation, creative and copywriting, email marketing, and digital automation.

Product Marketing

+ New product introduction (NPI) launch and IB campaigns, competitive analysis, portfolio planning, demand generation, nurture campaigns, enterprise marketing, market plan creation including market size and share analysis.

+ Content marketing, industry and marketing knowledge, competitive analysis and benchmarking, strategy and execution, market disruption techniques, channel marketing.

Strategic Insights and Competitive Intelligence

+ Understand and size the relevant market, needs and differentiators, identify strategies to win, and build programs and initiatives to be successful.

Strategic Customer Solutions Marketing

+ Develop & execute go-to-market strategies. Partner with product marketers to develop product positioning messaging for specific customer segments. Identify key customer requirements and work with product teams to ensure they are understood and incorporated into products/solutions.

+ Value proposition fundamentals, evidence generation, customer research, competitive intelligence, regionalization, messaging.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business (completing in May/June 2024)

+ Target majors include Marketing or Business

+ GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

+ Relocation required to Chicago, IL for the 2-year program

+ Marketing internship experience

+ Leadership roles on campus

+ Involvement in Marketing/Business organizations, extracurriculars or volunteerism

+ Interest in developing a marketing career within the healthcare industry
