MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN I Under close supervision, will perform entry-level tasks for electrical or mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

+ Understands principles and follows established protocol for L.O.T.O.

+ Understands arc flash/shock hazard application and properly interprets labels

+ Understands principles and operation of multi-meter test instruments

+ Understands facility power distribution

+ Able to properly use common hand tools

+ Able to interpret and utilize information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of production equipment

+ Understands types, applications, and installation procedures for bearings and lubricants

+ Understands the operating principles of a confined fluid system, associated components, and basic schematic interpretation

+ Knowledge of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps

+ Knowledge of basic interpretation and utilization of assembly drawings for facilitating the repair sub-assemblies

+ Has an understanding of integrated systems for the purpose of fault-finding and facilitation of repair

+ Use safe practices at all times

Training schedule: Monday through Friday / 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Work schedule: Monday through Friday / 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
