Job Title: Subject Matter Expert IV
Locations: Multiple Locations (Rock Island IL ; Fort Huachuca, AZ ; Fort Detrick, MD ; Fort Stewart, GA ; Carlisle Barracks, PA ; Fort Dix, NJ; Ft Rucker, AL; Ft. Eisenhower, GA (Ft. Gordon))
Clearance: Secret
Certifications: CompTIA Security+CE
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field desired.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Minimum ten (10) years of experience.
+ Provides technical leadership, performance management, and advisory assistance for solution implementation on major technology assignments.
+ Possesses in-depth knowledge of a particular area such as business, information systems, computer science, engineering, telecommunications, and a specific technology, or the various sciences.
+ Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
+ Participates as needed throughout the software development lifecycle or acquisition process whether through traditional methods.
+ Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific project requirements, or advanced mathematical techniques to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions.
+ Assists with analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information architecture; networking; Agile and DevOps methodologies; telecommunications; software development life-cycle management; communications protocols; risk management; modeling and simulation; disaster recovery; and requirements management.
