Title: Controls and Automation Specialist

Location: Kankakee, IL

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

+ Supporting the Electrical Engineering department and assist with project deliverables.

+ Providing electrical assistance including troubleshooting, project engineering and project management to all Plants

+ Updating existing legacy technologies in different plants to current standards.

+ Responsible for electrical project management including scheduling, financial, and management of contractors’ work.

+ Responsible for Labor-hour estimation, work planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting;

+ Updating schematic drawings in AutoCAD as required

+ Programming automation and controls systems and improving existing PLC programs including servo drives and A/C drives

+ Responsible for the design, test, commission, start up, recondition & work with current equipment configurations & to Engineer new technologies.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

+ 4 year Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred

+ 4+ years as an Electrical Engineer

+ Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel.

+ 4+ years using Autocad, MS Office Suite including Project

+ 4+ years with electrical safety code and its application in industrial wiring and power distribution

+ 4+ years working with PLC and HMI applications (including RSlinx, RSlogix5, 500, 5000, & Factory Talk View)

+ 4+ years with PLC & HMI systems design, programming, commissioning and start up including system hardware selection, I/O panels and subsystems layout and wiring.
