Job Description

Major Purpose:
• Grainger is launching an enterprise-wide effort focused on improving the way we deliver HR services to team members across the company.
• We're looking for a creative and motivated content developer to support our change management team over the next six months.

Major responsibilities and duties:
The content developer will be responsible for:
• Content for online news articles related to HR changes and system transformation.
• Content to support the launch of new systems and processes to team members, people leaders and key stakeholders.
• Collaborating with a team of writers and SMEs to revamp our HR knowledge management portal.
• Supporting the change management and training team to develop quick reference guides and other training materials.

We're looking for a content developer who has:
• Great writing skills.
• Flexibility and tenacity—to write with direction and provide feedback to the team.
• Knowledge and experience in writing about HR.
• Understanding of business technology and system transformation.
• Strong editing skills.
• Proven ability to simplify complex subjects.
• Experience in developing training content a plus.
