at Sunrun in Springfield, Illinois, United States
Job Description
Everything we do at Sunrun is driven by a determination to transform the way we power our lives. We know that starts at the individual employee level. We strive to foster an environment you can thrive in through our commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging.
At Sunrun, we’re reinventing our company to be at the forefront of the electrification movement. Our goal is to continue innovating and providing our customers with cutting-edge electrification, smart home, and home energy products to complement our existing suite of solar and storage products.
The Principal of Fleet Performance plays a pivotal role, entrusted with driving the implementation of strategic improvements for both the operations and growth of our solar and storage assets fleet. In this role, you will spearhead the development of optimal customer experiences, ensuring that we operate and maintain our rapidly expanding fleet efficiently. This will not only safeguard our current revenue streams but also pave the way for maximizing future earnings and curtailing expenses.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, engaging closely with integral internal and external stakeholders such as finance, project finance, customer experience, field teams, and partners. This role will be instrumental in orchestrating and rolling out cost-reduction programs, positioning yourself as the vital link between senior field service leaders, customer experience professionals, and financial experts. This role demands a partnership with our analytics team, where you’ll assist in crafting dynamic, real-time reporting metrics, ensuring that our methods for tracking success are not only effective but also scalable. At the heart of it, we’re seeking an individual with an innovative mindset-someone who can assist in conceptualizing and materializing a net-profitable O&M organization in tandem with the VP of Generation, while taking full ownership of all program and project management necessary to execute, track plans and targets, and deliver.
This leader must have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate, influence others, and understand and solve complex problems.
