Job Description
Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a candidate to fill an Electrical Technician position for multiple locations. We are looking to fill one spot at either of the following locations: Springfield, IL, Lisle IL, Peoria IL, St. Louis, MO, Raleigh, NC, Orlando, FL, or Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be experienced in the development of electrical construction plans for governmental, commercial and airfield projects in AutoCAD and Revit.

Position Profile
Responsibilities include technical drafting and layout of electrical systems such as Site and Building power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm, grounding & lightning protection.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities :
+ Perform technical drafting and layout of electrical systems.
+ Other assignments as directed by project managers and engineers.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
+ Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and AutoDesk Revit, most current versions.
Soft Skills:
+ Must have strong communication skills.
+ Must be able to build effective relationships with internal and external client bases
+ Must be able to work independently and as a team member to problem solve and learn new technical skills
Education/Experience:
+ 3-5 years of experience developing construction documents for electrical systems
+ Pluses include Certificate or Associate’s degree in engineering technology or engineering drafting.
