We are searching for aFinance Operations Manager (Temporary)to join our team located at our corporate office in Lake Forest, IL.
Your Role:
As theFinance Operations Manager (Temporary), you will perform financial accounting activities including product costing and analysis, master data review, inventory reporting, and financial support for the manufacturing facilities. You will have the opportunity to:
+ Perform product costing for externally purchased materials, support the monthly and annual review of standard costs and evaluate product costs across the manufacturing facilities.
+ Manage and establish controls for the standard costing process across five manufacturing facilities and two warehouses.
+ Oversee product cost estimates for customer bids, new products and capital request justifications as needed.
+ Perform moderate accounting activities including the month-end close and reporting process.
+ Support the manufacturing facilities by providing reporting and analytics on plant performance as needed.
+ Participate in cross-functional teams on small to medium special projects.
+ Provide management with performance reports in support of strategic plant and business initiatives.
+ Lead weekly and monthly review of manufacturing financials to Operational Leadership Team.
+ Recommend solutions to complex problems and helps drive strategic initiatives.

We need you to have:
+ BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ 7-10 years of Accounting/Finance related professional and diversified Accounting or Finance experience.
+ Proficient in MS Office.
+ Corporate and/or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
+ Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
+ Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
+ Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems logically and systematically.
Icing on the cake:
+ MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
+ CPA or CMA certification a plus.
+ Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
