Summary:Bank owned Institutional broker dealer is seeking to expand its Municipal Sales desk in Chicago. The Municipal Sales professional should possess a strong understanding of the municipal marketplace and ability to develop and deepen investor relationships. In addition, the colleague will identify opportunities based on comprehensive knowledge of clients, prospects, market conditions, current primary and secondary offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities:+ Expand relationships with municipal investors
+ Partner closely with colleagues in Trading and Public Finance
+ Facilitate account documentation and trade execution
+ Maintain strict adherence to Compliance obligations
Basic Qualifications:+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or related field
+ Experience in the securities industry with no identified regulatory issues
+ NASD Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
Preferred Qualifications:+ Experience in the Institutional Investments space , preferably municipal securities
+ Successful track record of business building and strategy executio n
+ Experienced and successful in cultivating new investment relationships
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Bloomberg TOMS and Tradeweb
