Summary:
• The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes and develop quality standards.
• A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards.

Typical task breakdown:
• Conduct walk-backs for Quality issues within assigned Value Stream.
• This position is required to implement the Idea Generation Process and Corrective and Preventive action processes by clarifying and verifying all ideas with related persons and spot check, explain the validation reasons, and encourage all employees to make contributions to achieve zero defect in operations.
• This position is required to work with all employees to improve quality practices in their processes through quality manner such as daily coaching, tracking CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects & Scorecard, providing quality support if any poor results or negative trends occur, developing IQC training programs, providing training courses of quality specifications to employees, conducting internal quality audits, facilitating management reviews, etc.

• Shop floor and Office

Education & Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years Previous Quality Engineer Experience

Technical Skills
(Required)
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
• Team player and detail oriented.
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
