The Service Dispatch Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for managing the Service Coordination team in planning and scheduling of field resources for Installations, Preventative Maintenance, and Customer moves while balancing the urgent needs of a complex customer base for emergency instrument repairs.
This position is part of the Service Operations team located in Deer Park, Illinois and will be a HYBRID position working 3 days a week in the office and the rest of the week from home. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:+ Partner with the Field Service leadership to support customer’s needs and drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
+ Oversee coordination of Instrument installations between Leica and contracted logistics companies (as needed), Sales, Applications and FSEs. Ensure proper installation documentation is submitted for revenue recognition.
+ Oversee customer move requests with Service Management, Logistics and Customer.
+ Identify and drive continuous improvement through effective utilization of DBS principles/tools such as daily/visual management, PSP, kaizen, and standard work.
+ Support service coordination strategy, development and deployment
+ Openly and actively support business initiatives and change within the Service organization.
+ Recruit, develop, coach and train Service Coordination team with clearly communicated performance standards to drive exceptional customer experience.
The essential requirements of the job include:+ Bachelor’s degree
+ A minimum of 5 years prior supervisory (direct reports) experience in a mid-size team or larger
+ Comfort with presenting in front of large groups to include senior leadership
+ Demonstrated strength in driving change management
+ Demonstrated experience in coaching, performance management, disciplinary action
+ 10% overnight travel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:+ Master’s Degree
+ Salesforce experience
+ Prior dispatch supervisory experience
+ SAP experience
