The Opportunity

This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Core Diagnostics Division . The Core Dx DHQ Center of Excellence is a best in class FP&A organization that drives standardization and efficiencies across Core Dx, provides insightful and value added analytics, and serves as a talent pipeline into the division. The Center of Excellence is responsible for the preparation and analytical review of cost center budgets and other standard financial reports, spanning across Commercial, DHQ, IT, Marketing, and R&D organizations for LBE’s and confirmations. Analytical review includes understanding of the key causals that drive change versus multiple benchmarks. On-going process initiatives are also required to improve and strengthen financial processes, procedures, and systems supporting these areas of responsibility.

What You’ll Work On

+ Assist with the preparation and consolidation of Total Core Dx Sales to DVP Controller, including weekly, monthly, and LBE reporting periods

+ Assist with the preparation and consolidation of Total Core Dx Gross Margin for Actuals and LBE

+ Prepare monthly reports for senior management

+ Support Global Commercial team, including sales reporting and monthly close

+ Assist with the consolidation and reconciliation of the Annual cost change process

+ Assist in identification and implementation of process improvements

+ Interaction with different levels of management, both finance and operational

+ Financial modeling with extensive use of Excel

+ Creation of SOPs (standard operating procedures) for repeatable tasks

+ Special Ad Hoc projects

Required Qualifications

+ Minimum of 2 years finance/accounting experience

+ Bachelor’s degree required

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and with senior management

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

The base pay for this position is $57,300.00 – $114,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
