Date Posted: 11/17/2023 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 454224 Job Title: Technical Accounting and External Reporting Senior Analyst Job Location: Lincolnshire, IL, USA, 60069 Employment Type: Temporary Estimated Duration (In months): 4 Min Hourly Rate($): 50.00 Max Hourly Rate($): 72.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: Accounting, Analysis, Finance, Reporting, Technical Job Description **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Job Title: Technical Accounting and External Reporting Consultant/Senior Analyst Duration: 4 months (contract only) Start Date: 12/1/2023 Location: Virtual Job Summary Reporting to the Manager, Technical Accounting and External Reporting, the Senior Analyst, Technical Accounting and External Reporting will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting function of COMPANY. Responsibilities include: • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and footnotes related to the Company’s SEC filings (Forms 10Q, 10K, 8K, etc.), including XBRL. • Assist with complex technical accounting research and benchmarking. • Support the monthly accounting close and consolidation process in accordance with public company filing deadlines, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and preparation of financial statements. • Accurately reconcile accounts, summarize activity, resolving reconciling differences as appropriate • Prepare and/or review journal entries, account balance reconciliations and flux analyses including the associated documentation to support SOX internal control procedures! • Perform accounting and control procedures related to inter-company balances, compensation, benefits, foreign currency translation and the consolidation process. • Ensure applicable processes and controls are in designed and operating effectively to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley • Participate and support interim, quarterly, and annual internal and external audits to ensure timely and successful completion. • Perform ad hoc accounting projects and/or assist other Finance team members, as needed. Education/Demonstrated Experience/Role Success Factors • Bachelor''s degree in Accounting • CPA highly preferred or actively studying for exam, required • 3+ years previous accounting experience, including (Big 4, public company and/or service industry preferred) • Ability to meet reporting deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for completeness and accuracy of work performed. • Strong team player, high energy level and willing to take initiative and open to new challenges. • Active interest and curiosity in improving processes through standardization and automation and establishing best practices • Knowledge of financial information systems and applications with Workday Financials, Adaptive and Active Disclosure a plus Other - Virtual considered, with strong preference to local Chicago area candidates and Central or East Coast Time zones. - Some travel and Lincolnshire, IL office attendance may be required during peak work periods such as the quarterly SEC reporting cycle Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
