This position is part of the Global Program Management Organization located in Richmond, Illinois and will be hybrid requiring four days per week onsite.

You will be a part of the Program Management Team, report to the Senior Director Program Management, and function as the core team leader of a cross-functional team with full responsibility for the programs from both business and technical perspectives. With your teams you keep quality, delivery, and cost of the portfolios under control. You will be accountable to the Leica Biosystems leadership team for the success of the projects and life cycle activities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Align the company’s business targets with the project’s objectives and outcomes

+ Balance multiple projects and priorities seamlessly in a fast-paced environment

+ Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders and keep all levels of the organization informed, engaged, and motivated

+ Instill a sense of urgency, drive team debate around key issues and risk while keeping big picture and long-term targets in mind

+ Use Danaher Business System (DBS) tools if appropriate to achieve constructive outcomes

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Minimum 6 years overall experience in project management; preferred medical device industry and/or instrument development

+ Able to influence effectively across the organization

+ Process oriented; knows how to use project management tools efficiently

+ Decisive and effective project leader; motivator which is experienced in developing and training teams

+ Strong risk management and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and minimize potential problems

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Project management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification

+ Experience with LEAN systems and methodologies

+ Experience in leading multinational projects

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home. The salary range for this role is $110,000 – $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
