Position: Planning & Monitoring Manager Location: Chicago (Hybrid), IL Job Id: 984 # of Openings: 1 Planning & Monitoring Manager Patrick Engineering, A RINA company, is seeking a Planning, Monitoring & Business Support Manager to be responsible for effectively synchronizing the US Business Unit with Rina Consulting business areas and providing stakeholders prompt and effective business data insights to drive business decisions (including financial and project performance outcomes). This position will lead tactical business decisions for stakeholders by developing and providing data analysis and reporting of complex patterns, insights, and trends. Primary Responsibilities Provide local leadership, support, and insight over business planning, analysis, and reporting; collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, optimize performance, and support the achievement of business goals. Measure effectiveness of improvements through deep analysis of data on performance metrics striving for cost effective & high-quality improvements or solutions and ensuring process alignment with HQ guidelines Liaise with leadership teams on performance and planning matters Proactively support stakeholders, including Finance Department and Business Unit leaders, with prompt and comprehensive information and reports Drive operational excellence through standardization of agreed upon best practices Manage and monitor KPI dashboards and translate KPI's into clear insights for consumption by HQ and senior leadership Oversees the development of research and analysis tools to monitor and evaluate KPI's Tailor business scenario evolutions (e.g. new competitors in the Market, new offers etc.) Collect and rationalize market needs/customizations to be brought to HQ Support the HQ annual budget process by building consistent financial models in collaboration with Finance and Market leaders Develop business requirements, assess current reporting capabilities, and make recommendations for improvements on processes and practices that have an impact on the BUs to achieve stated goals Provide hands-on training, ensuring data is at the fingertips of decision-makers Responsible for all aspects of team member training, career development, and performance management Other duties as assigned Professional Requirements Bachelor's Degree required (discipline of Finance, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent fields of study) 10+ years of technical program/project management experience in consulting industry 5+ years of experience in data driven business insight & recommendations, including business analytics and dashboard design Proficient knowledge of advanced analysis solutions/tools (such as advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI) Application of highly complex statistical methods Possess a high level of business acumen with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated experience partnering with business stakeholder to identify capability gaps and developing road maps Strong oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with all levels of the organization and external contacts Ability to operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Additional Preferences 10% of travel Valid driver's license; position requires occasional use of fleet vehicle, personal vehicle, and/or rental vehicle for business-related travel.
