Summary: This position serves as primary administrator for the annual Clinical Congress and primary support for the Program Committee. This exempt position will report to the Assistant Director of Clinical Congress and Skills Courses in the Division of Education. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. Responsibilities: Administer the call for gap analyses and call for proposals. Handle all announcements, organize and update data for the call for gap analyses and proposals. Provide ongoing communications and training for ACS Staff Liaisons, Sponsoring Committees and Advisory Councils. Administer monthly and annual meetings of the Program Committee. Prepare detailed minutes, data analysis and summaries, and reports monthly. Assign proposals to pre-reviewers and prepare data for Program Committee. Research relevant history of proposed sessions to aid Program Committee in decision making. Prepare reports to the Board of Regents including annual report on Clinical Congress proposals accepted by the Program Committee and changes in Program Committee membership. Work with Senior Manager and Assistant Director to prepare regular and ad hoc reports relevant to the Clinical Congress. Administer the Special Sessions for Clinical Congress. Work with Executive Services to administer the Named Lectures for Clinical Congress. Required Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required. At least 7+ years of project coordination and/or committee support experience is required (including support of high-level committee members or senior leadership). Association experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
