The team you'll be a part of Cloud and Network Services: As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible. The Device Onboarding team at Nokia is responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient device testing platform and formal testing services. We work closely with device vendors to ensure their devices successfully communicate with our Nokia IMPACT and HDM Device Management Server applications. In addition, we collaborate with customers to ensure their requirements are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards. Our team also offers support to device vendors who encounter issues with implementation or debugging. Moreover, we provide internal team support for device management server configuration. As for the Device Interoperability Subject Matter Expert role, you will be an essential part of our team. Your expertise in solving complex problems will contribute significantly to assisting both Nokia team members and device vendors to resolve any challenges they may face. What you will learn and contribute to "We are looking for someone who can be the go-to person for any device interoperability-related issue that other team members cannot immediately address. You will also be responsible for onboarding new customers to the program and providing guidance." As part of the team, you will: Provide expert feedback to device vendors and service providers, ensuring interoperability issues are resolved effectively. Offer subject matter expertise on Nokia device management products and applicable industry standards to both internal and external teams. Make valuable contributions to customer technical requirements, helping to meet their needs. When requested, manage training sessions delivered to OEMs, Service Providers, and 3rd Party labs, ensuring they thoroughly understand Nokia's device management products and processes. In this Device Interoperability Subject Matter Expert role at Nokia, you will have the opportunity to work with exciting new IoT and consumer technology. It is a dynamic role that involves active collaboration both within the company and with our valued customers. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth device interoperability testing service and achieve high customer satisfaction. Your skills and experience You have : Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent experience 5-7 combined years of supporting device interoperability testing of mobile and IoT devices Familiarity with QXDM tool, Java, UNIX/Linux, SQL/Oracle, XML, Webservices, HTTP(S), DTLS, TCP/IP, and Wireshark It would be nice if you also had: Experience with device standards & protocols such as LWM2M and OMA-DM Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Exposure to Atlassian Jira and Confluence Excellent communication skills, able to articulate things easily, should be able to guide a technical discussion with the customer What we offer Nokia offers flexible and hybrid working schemes, continuous learning opportunities, well-being programs to support you mentally and physically, opportunities to join and get supported by employee resource groups, mentoring programs and highly diverse teams with an inclusive culture where people thrive and are empowered.
