Job Description

Description:

+ Studies specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data.

+ Confers with engineering, service, and shop personnel to resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost.

+ 70% in Creo, 15% on the floor with production or fabricators doing service/troubleshooting, and 15% ERF integration (analysis).

+ Creo work is 50% production orders as they come in standards 30% customization of special orders, and 20% project work and new product development.

Skills:

Design, Mechanical engineering, Creo, Microsoft Office Suite, FEA, Inventor, robotics

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required

+ Associate’s degree with relevant experience would be considered

+ Experience with design in Creo required (would consider inventor, but they use Creo specifically)

+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time well.

+ Looking for someone long-term
