Full Job Description Under minimum supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or his/her designee and according to established policies and procedures, state and federal laws, and professional ethics performs a variety of professional services to The New Roseland Community Hospital (RCH) which incl8des, but is not limited to providing drug information and consultation to health professionals, participating in patient rounds, developing and participating in educational programs to optimize drug utilization and performing the duties of a pharmacist and other duties inherent in the position. Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care consistent with departmental; hospital philosophy, mission statement, professional standards and policies and procedures. Observes and adheres to all corporate compliance requirements. The customers of RCH are defined as anyone who is or may be a potential user of RCH which include but not limited to patients, physician's, employees of RCH and Roseland community residents.- Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy with B.S. Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
- Must be a Licensed by the Illinois Dept. of Professional Regulations as a Registered Pharmacist
- Must have good customer services skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to details, accurate and alertness are required
- Ability to handle a heavy workload is required
- Basis computer skills are required
