The Program Management Lead (PMO) Benefits will oversee the program management organization and have responsibility for strategic business transformations and continuous improvement within the PMO department.
The PMO lead will ensure best-practice program management and continuous improvement processes and tools are embedded and consistently used across the organization. Operating at a strategic level in collaboration with senior leadership, this highly visible and influential role will interface with multiple business lines and functions.
The PMO lead is responsible for deploying and supporting program management and continuous improvement processes and tools across the organization in such ways that show demonstrated benefits (ex: growth enablement, savings, efficiency gains, capacity increase, customer satisfaction). This position will make high-impact contributions that ensure all PMO actions support strategic priorities.
The PMO lead will oversee and effectively manage multiple PMO projects and the deployment of appropriate program managers, tools, and techniques to drive value outcomes. The role must be able to manage and drive change and take active leadership in timely decision-making.
Lastly, the PMO lead will be responsible for building and leading a team of professional program managers at Alight, ensuring that we have sufficient "Bench Strength" to properly drive and own key enterprise initiatives. It is expected that the PMO lead will create a culture of accomplishment and success within the framework of a product-led organization.

Develops, deploys, and advocates program management expertise throughout the organization via education and support of standardized, best-practice processes, tools, and portfolio management methodologies.
Develops, deploys, and advocates continuous improvement expertise throughout the organization via education and support of standardized, best-practice processes, tools, and methodologies.
Improves program management effectiveness through innovative approaches, modern analytics, and continuous process improvement including formalizing a common language for program managers, functional leaders, and other stakeholders to enable effective communication.
Serves as a change management leader, supporting both the identification and application of new program management concepts and driving the spread of best practices organization-wide while breaking down barriers along the way.
Assures strategic alignment through prioritization, resource capacity management, key result tracking and program management to achieve strategic vision.
Actively participates and engages others in decision-making, information sharing, and identifying opportunities for improvement, while encouraging others to do the same.
Partners with leadership to identify, develop, and deliver key program performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the organization aligned to organization objectives.
Works with functional teams to streamline processes that improve organizational objectives, with a specific focus on the customer experience, efficiency, and growth-enablement.
Improves the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within high performance teams to increase the autonomy and pace of change.
Provides regular, ongoing reporting and communications to executive leadership.
Develop and operate within approved budget, as well as champion (w/ Business Lead) business case support and decision-making
Regularly track progress on all project plans and provides timely updates to leadership
