Job Description
DRW HOLDINGS LLC in Chicago, IL seeks QUANTITATIVE RESEARCHER (POSITION ID QR/IL/H053) to perform the following duties: Under supervision and working closely with experienced traders, software engineers and other quantitative researchers, produce high quality quantitative research and analysis across multiple asset classes. Use variety of quantitative and programming techniques to solve practical problems. Formulate and apply mathematical modeling, quantitative methods and machine learning techniques to identify and capture trading opportunities. Conduct statistical analysis of market data, historical trends and relationships. Perform research which verifies and identifies new trading opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or another highly quantitative field.
Education or experience to include:
1. Python and associated numerical packages Pandas and Numpy;
2. C++ or Java or Scala;
3. Statistical tools used in analyzing large and noisy datasets;
4. Linear Algebra;
5. Work or projects completed in LINUX;
6. Advanced quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills applied to financial markets;
7. Ability demonstrated through actual trading experience or trading research to act creatively to come up with trading solutions.
