Job Description
Position: Vice President Capital Markets
Location: Onsite in Chicago, IL
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage the execution of capital raising transactions
+ Work closely with senior bankers to develop financing strategies for clients
+ Analyze industry and market trends to identify potential opportunities for clients
+ Prepare pitch books, offering memorandum, and other marketing materials for client presentations
+ Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors
+ Cultivating new client relationships
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
+ Stay updated on regulatory requirements and market developments affecting capital markets
Requirements
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment banking or related field
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
+ Strong knowledge of capital markets and financing transactions
+ Proven track record of successfully executing capital raising transactions
+ Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills
+ FINRA Series 7, Series 79 and Series 63 licenses required (or within 6 months of hire)
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
+ Willing to travel 50% of role
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
+ Must be highly organized and demonstrate a strong attention to detail
+ Self-confident and have the ability to maintain composure in challenging environments
