Date Posted: 12/07/2023 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 455047 Job Title: Product Development Engineer Job Location: Mossville, IL, USA, 61552 Employment Type: Temporary Estimated Duration (In months): 26 Min Hourly Rate($): 39.00 Max Hourly Rate($): 44.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: 3D, APQP, Creo, Modeling, Product Design, Product Development Nice To Have Skills/Attributes: FMEA Job Description Product Development Engineer (Engine / Fuel Systems) Schedule: Mon – Fri 7:30 – 4pm CST – 100% onsite role Overview: • Our client is looking for a Product Development Engineer who has the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints to assist in the component / system design and development. • This resource should have experience with Creo modeling, APQP processes with 2 – 5 years of previous product development experience. • An ideal candidate will have experience with engine / fuel system development and hydraulic analysis. • This is a 100% onsite role located in Mossville, IL with an estimated start date of 1/8/2024. Major Purpose: • Product Development (NPI) • Requirements definition • FMEA • DVP&R • APQP • Creo modeling • Print detailing • Analysis coordination • Supplier CPPD • Tolerance stack-up, o-ring calculations, bolted joint analysis Typical task breakdown: • Component / system design development according to APQP cadence Interaction with team: • Frequent interaction w/ core development team – team members plus work director • Regular collaboration w/ support resources: FS mechatronics, analysis, purchasing, SDE, suppliers Work environment: • Office primarily • Hands-on lab/test environment (validation hardware: receiving, test coordination, inspection) -> increasing as project progresses to validation phase Education & Experience Required: • BS Engineering/Equivalent • 2-5 years of experience Technical Skills (Required) • 3D modeling/print detailing • Clear understanding of GD&T • Product development experience (Desired) • Engine/Fuel systems development experience • Detailing/releasing experience • Structural FEA experience • Hydraulic analysis experience • Product validation experience • Knowledge of manufacturing processes Soft Skills (Required) • Attention to detail • Organization • Analytical thinking • Effective communication • Managing multiple priorities • Confidentiality Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
