Job Description

CMA is seeking Material Handler – Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) for our meat processing facility. Individuals must be willing to work in a cold environment. What You Get To Do • Use EPJ to move pallets to various locations. Locations include freezer room, cooler room, dry storage room, production room and docks. • Make sure that all partial boxes and combos are brought back to the production line to finish filling. • Make sure the production lines do not run out of meat. • Read the fresh meat and schedule report to identify correct product (FIFO). • Use RF scanner to scan product (in and out locations). • Fill out verification documents for labels. • Reconcile written paperwork to ensure accuracy and balance. • Maintain area organized and clear of path ways. • Complete inventory as scheduled. • Re-palletize as needed. • Identify broken pallets/boxes and report to supervisor. • Adhere to safe work practices, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. What We Want From You • Required one year of recent EPJ experience. • Required to work overtime (including some Saturdays). • Required to wear all personal protective equipment. • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push up to 80 pounds depending on specific function being performed. • Ability to crouch and bend. • Ability to work with cold materials in a cold, humid environment. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). • Follow CMA policies and procedures. • Follow all safety regulations and support others in working safely. • Perform all duties as required by supervisor.
