Job Description
Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary .
Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm or 1:00pm – 9:00pm+ Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
+ Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
+ Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
Basic Qualifications:+ Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA
+ 2 years machine maintenance experience
+ Experience with basic hand tools and power tools
Preferred Qualifications:+ Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment
+ Knowledge of machine tools
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications
