Job Description
Capgemini America, Inc. (Sogeti division) seeks IT professionals to fill multiple positions in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Entry through Sr. level positions available.
Duties: Work with clients independently, participate in architectural reviews and advise on functional solutions. Work with data architecture for large scale and cloud-based applications. Operating with Snowflake/Azure SQL/AWS/GCP and other cloud-based solutions and migrating from on prem to cloud systems. Work with version control platforms (e.g. Git), agile development and DevOps concepts. Implement a variety of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, & best practices (Incremental, SCD, Star Schema). Use data modeling, data migration and utilize thorough knowledge on RDBMS concepts. Utilize query/procedure writing for multiple RDBMS while understanding performance tuning concepts on the cloud. Understand business functionality of various applications and building dependency diagram for the database objects. Implement Data lakes in Cloud (Databricks/Azure SQL/AWS). Serve as a subject matter expert in a cloud platform and contribute back to community. Manage overall insights and data delivery coordinating, with onshore and offshore teams. Utilize experience with Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL; Cloud: Azure SQL, Data Lake in Cloud, Azure Synapse; Reporting Tools: SSRS; Design and Architecture Tools: Design Enterprise Database Systems, Data Modeling, Data Migration; ETL Tools: SSIS, ADF (Azure Data Factory); Version Control Tools: GIT, DevOps, TFS; Services and Support Tools: Service Now.
