Project Objective: Spin off the Renal Care and Acute Therapies global business units into an independent, publicly traded company. Project Scope: Lead and/or support the UCAN (US and Canada) Fulfillment project activities such as schedule, tasks, communication, etc… to successfully separate the business. Project Phases: Planning (Q1-Q2, 2023): Examine how we operate today and define future operations and separation plans by workstream. Execution (Q3-Q4, 2023): Focus on building out the structure and operations of the new Kidney Co based on the requirements identified in the Planning phase. Spin Readiness (Q1, 2024): Conduct a "soft" implementation that provides an opportunity for client and the new Kidney Co to "practice" operating independently of one another, while legally remaining as one company. Project Milestones: The Fulfillment team has established over 20 key milestones to achieve for a successful launch. Operational Analyst will be supporting the PM in alignment with each pillar within Fulfillment (Customer Service, Transportation, Warehousing, Network Planning and Deployment). Activities include workflow, process flow, SOP and training material, analytics, operational readiness, and cutover execution. This Temporary Operations Analyst position will be involved with analyzing business processes, identifying, evaluating, and developing and/or redesigning systems and procedures to meet user requirements. Assist in the development of system documentation and training materials as well as training processes. Own key tasks, demonstrate solid business knowledge, require moderate direction, give minimal guidance to others, handle moderately complex problems, and possess solid knowledge of SDLC 1. Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications and requirements on small/medium size projects. 2. Develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts and plans. 3. Define, design, and document business flows and processes on small & medium size projects. 4. Identify, analyze, propose and document appropriate solutions for problems and issues that may impact the project. Identify and understand issues that may impact day-to-day operations. 5. Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes. 6. Communicate status, solutions and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions or teams. 7. Provide cross-functional and business knowledge to develop business system and process alternatives. 8. Train others as appropriate on specific area of business or systems expertise. Assist in development of training materials. 9. Other duties as assigned. Candidates must possess a solid knowledge of the application development process. Candidates must have strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening); solid business knowledge; sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills. Candidates must be detail oriented and able to work in a team setting. A Bachelor's degree is preferred or relevant work experience in systems or business. 2+ years experience in applying information systems solutions to business problems is required. Experience in system testing, validation, problem resolution, and training is also required.
