An Integrations Enterprise Architect specializes in designing and implementing solutions for system and data integration within an organization. They focus on developing strategies for connecting disparate IT systems, ensuring efficient data flow and consistency. This role involves crafting robust integration architectures, staying updated with the latest technologies, and collaborating with other IT professionals. The architect solves complex integration challenges, oversees integration projects, and ensures compliance with security and data standards, playing a key role in aligning IT infrastructure with business objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Strategic Planning: They develop and execute strategies for integrating disparate IT systems to improve efficiency and data consistency across the enterprise.
+ Design and Architecture: Designing robust architecture for integrating different systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
+ Technology Expertise: Staying abreast of the latest integration technologies and trends, including cloud services, APIs, middleware, and data formats.
+ Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with other IT professionals, such as system architects, developers, and analysts, to understand their needs and ensure that integration solutions meet business goals.
+ Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identifying and solving complex integration challenges, often requiring innovative approaches and custom solutions.
+ Technology Roadmap – Mapping out the technology roadmap for Valvoline (Integrations, participation in overall technology roadmaps, global)
+ Compliance and Best Practices: Ensuring that integration solutions comply with industry standards and best practices for security, data integrity, and reliability.
What You’ll Need
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information management, or a related field
+ Minimum of 10 years (10-15 preferred) of IT experience working with interface technologies
+ 5 -10 full cycle project implementations of integrations technology.
+ 4+ years leadership experience on technology projects.
+ 5 years experience with end to end DEVOPS or Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment change control processes.
+ 5 years experience with Open Source interface components.
