The Role at a Glance

As an Analyst on the Capital Markets and Liquidity Team you will be responsible for leading the internal and external liquidity stress testing process with the oversight of other team members. This role will require working with various business areas to compile the data needed to fulfill the requirements of various stress testing scenarios. The role will also be responsible for analyzing the outcomes of the liquidity stress testing and offering recommendations based on the findings. In addition, you will also be involved in analyzing programs and transactions that are designed to optimize the capital and liquidity structure of company. You will be assisting with the economic analysis and performing the associated due diligence on proposals to ensure the ideas fit the strategic objectives and vision of the company.

What you’ll be doing

· Conduct internal and external liquidity stress testing to assess cash flows and liquidity needs

· Research, analyze and recommend solutions to optimize available liquidity under various scenarios

· Desire to evaluate structured liquidity solutions to address worst case scenarios

· Monitor available liquidity and ensure compliance with the Company’s liquidity policies and credit facilities

· Coordinate and lead delivery of information and surveys to regulators, auditors, rating agencies and public investors

· Support the analysis and due diligence of capital market transactions

· Assist with quarterly and annual filling disclosures, in addition to the associated audit requests

· Perform ad hoc analysis with flexibility to move quickly from project to project

· Comfortable stepping in at all stages of a transaction to analyze the economics of the proposed transaction

· Prepare PowerPoint presentations to share capital markets and liquidity ideas with internal stakeholders

What we’re looking for

Must-haves

· Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or other relevant discipline

· 2+ years of experience in one of the following: Treasury, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Risk Management

· Significant experience in Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills

· Self-motivated to take on tasks with a sense of urgency

Nice-to-haves

· Knowledge of derivative instruments

· Prior experience with a Bloomberg terminal

Pay Range: $87,000 – $115,700

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
