Job Description

Manage client projects with primary responsibility for client satisfaction, team excellence, and delivery of projects on time and to budget. Manage day-to-day client relations and build long-term relationships with clients. Structure the problem-solving process and develop project schedules. Assign work to team members. Control project budget. Support lead generation and project acquisition with proposal preparation and presentation. Provide topical expertise and intellectual leadership to project teams. Develop intellectual capital in targeted areas as part of thought leadership initiatives. Mentors junior staff. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, or a closely related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible management consulting experience in private equity, automotive, industrial products, and services industries, and relevant adjacent industries including chemicals and energy. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Project management and execution experience with strategy (strategy development and implementation planning), operational excellence (footprint and supply chain optimization), and transaction support engagements (commercial and operational due diligence, and post-merger integration); Management consulting experience with clients in the private equity, automotive, industrial products and services industries, and relevant adjacent industries, including chemicals and energy; Lead generation and project acquisition, including proposal preparation and presentation with an in-depth understanding of ongoing Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activity in the domestic private equity space; Conduct modeling tasks, including market sizing and forecasting, detailed financial business cases; Analyze and assess industry structure and dynamics, customer requirements, competitive positioning, and business plans; and, Firm development and intellectual capital activities, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, event organization and moderation, recruiting, and trainings. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Approximately 60% travel required to client worksites and offices domestically and internationally.
