Northwestern University Libraries offer an advanced post-graduate conservation residency (previously called a fellowship) for a two-year appointment, September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2026. The conservation residency provides practical experience in a busy academic library conservation lab balancing conservation treatment responsibilities with professional research activities and an opportunity for supervisory experience.
Description of Duties: Working under the supervision of the Chief Conservator. The Conservation Resident’s role has three major components: conservation treatment and housing, an independent research project, and a supervisory project.
