As part of the Strategic Product and Customer Engagement Team, this Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) in Capacity Management plays a critical role in providing sustainable, scalable capacity plan to ensure customer success by making executive recommendations through analytical models and understanding of customer architecture and OCI infrastructure supply. The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical planner who can lead large-scale projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor degree required, Master in business preferred

+ Ten or more years of business planning, program management experiences

+ Previous experience or understanding of cloud technologies, engineering, software, and systems development lifecycles, a strong background planning and modeling

+ Ability to transform complicated business problems into logical executive level communications

+ Data-driven approach to solving problems and ability to deep dive into technical details

+ A natural problem-solver and strategic thinker who takes ownership

+ Effectively communicate guidance to cross functional teams

Responsibilities

+ Long range and near-term capacity plan for executive level decision making on resource planning and financial guidance

+ Consolidation of constrained supply across space and power, networking, and hardware supplies

+ Develop business and capacity plan for new product and new region launches

+ Drive large, complex projects from end-to-end

+ Support Supply-Demand-Plan-of-Record process for external and internal customers

+ Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

+ Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities.

+ Lead interactions with cross functional teams consisting of Data Center Operations, Delivery, Design, Engineers, Product Managers and executive leadership.

+ Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

+ Gain a deep technical understanding of OCI servers and be able to drive the technical direction of the team, working with cross-functional, cross-service teams

+ Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

US: Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
