Technology Delivery Lead Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Technology Delivery Lead Manager in Chicago, IL, and the job duties are as follows: - Assess, plan, implement and/or support world-class application solutions for Accenture or our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs. - Conduct application architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. - Oversee the configuration and build of the application solutions or technology components and classes. - Design, customize, develop, and execute technical resources for methods, procedures, and standards using commercial and Accenture’s proprietary tools to build infrastructure and application components. - Provide the project’s technical conscience, defining and driving the right solution to meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs. - Manage onshore and offshore resources, distribute responsibilities across team members, and report on status for assigned scope of work to client stakeholders. - Meet and interact with our clients’ application owners and infrastructure support personnel to communicate activities comprising implementation plans, and ensure the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: - Planning and executing end-to-end delivery of projects with multiple releases and workstreams; - Project managing, creating project plans and estimates, handling project risks and issues, and providing project status to the client and internal stakeholders; - Coordinating with clients and client business stakeholders on application support, and coordinating with geographically distributed teams to keep the client business applications running; and - Identify potential issues including delays in delivery or quality issues and set up corrective measures for the teams and projects. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: - Life Sciences Research and Development Industry domain; and - Computer System Validation and GxP Compliance processes. Must have 3 years of experience in each of following: - Developing Agile plans, that assist teams to respond to unpredictability, complexity, effort and cost required to design, build, test, and deploy, through incremental iterative work cadences and empirical feedback; - Configuration and Release Management for managing, planning, scheduling, and controlling a software build through different stages and environments, including testing and deploying software releases; and - Designing, implementing, and directing solution architecture to address specific problems and requirements, through the application of technical, business process, and industry knowledge. Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
