WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be responsible for performing detailed engineering design on a variety of engineering tasks. You will provide approval on proposed project plans.
As a Project Engineer, a typical day may include the following:
+ Applying technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specifications
+ Collaborating with Project Managers and Unit Leaders on process and design improvements
+ Assisting in preparation of proposals by estimating engineering hours
+ Following systems of quality control and provide status of projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
+ Minimum of 5 years of work experience with at least 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry
+ Curious and active listener: You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to think outside the box. You ask a lot of questions. You recognize there is a difference between “hearing” and “listening.”
+ Resilient and self-motivated: You are always striving to build upon previous successes
+ Detail oriented: The little things matter!
+ Collaborative: When we all succeed, we’re better for it!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Experience in the Natural Gas or Electric power industry
+ Registration as a EIT or professional engineer
