Job Description Summary

Responsible for supervising, mentoring and assisting a team of 4-6 Program Specialist while providing superior, top quality service to FIRSTs internal and external customers. Ensure teams remain in compliance with FIRSTs Policies and Procedures and assist Management when needed with any special reporting and/or projects. Educate by acting as a mentor to fellow team members.

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for ensuring loan agreements are processed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner for the assigned team, in addition to reviewing and approving large loans to certify all duties are performed within regulatory compliance, and monitoring the daily underwriting report to ensure quotes are corrected and resubmitted in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with the interviewing and hiring process, along with mentoring and providing guidance in training, in addition to coaching and developing subordinates and addressing any employee performance issues.
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales and Relationship Managers regarding any escalated issues for quotes, accounts, and business relationships within their assigned regions/team. Make recommendations and support the implementation of changes to workplace procedures.
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of the exception report and addressing any address concerns as well as aiding and assigning delegates to assist with workloads when necessary.
  • Has the authority to formulate, interpret and implement operating practices for booking loans, as well as authorizing wire transmittals, that have a significant financial impact up to $2MM, in addition to providing their knowledge and expertise to members of Senior Management.
