Date Posted: 02/14/2024 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 458622 Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Location: Mossville, IL, USA, 61552 Work Model: Hybrid Employment Type: Temporary Estimated Duration (In months): 13 Min Hourly Rate($): 47.00 Max Hourly Rate($): 50.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: NPI - New Product Introduction Job Description **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Education & Experience Required: • 5-7 years of experience in the field • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) Technical Skills (Required) • Engineering Tools (Teamcenter, Lifecycle management, and Engineering Data System) • Experience with diesel engines (Desired) • Understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) Process • Understanding of Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) Process Soft Skills (Required) • Ability to prioritize and balance workload • Ability to articulate and summarize engineering • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) Position’s Contributions to Work Group: • Supporting Industrial Power Systems – Large L4 Platform Team by providing engineering support to 7 engineers throughout the design lifecycle of a diesel engine. • This role will focus primarily on improving the velocity of engine programs through lifecycle management excellence from design through manufacturing. Typical task breakdown: • Engineering releasing and change management support • Engine design auditing • Engineering 3D Model creation and management Interaction with team: • Individual engineers will direct the resource’s work.
