What you’ll do…

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and experienced charging professional who will contribute to elevating our existing digital commercial charging products to the next level, to help develop intuitive and thoughtful messaging to charging customers to help drive demand focusing on product positioning, sales enablement, and product messaging. The global marketing leader is expected to possess deep working understanding of charging, utilities, energy management and how to position fleet charging products in the marketplace to lead in NA/EU.

+ Be the undisputed champion for digital commercial charging content and marketing messages

+ You will build and execute a product marketing strategy to help improve the success of our solutions in the market.

+ Lead, develop, and manage a team of global team (NA/EU) of digital product marketers

+ Inform the overall marketing strategy with valuable product marketing intelligence from charging

+ Be the evangelist, internally and externally, for our full solutions set and monitor the performance of solutions to educate key stakeholders.

+ Own, build detailed persona’s, and gain a deep understanding of the markets charging needs to inform product, sales and adjacent marketing activities and own the content creation for all channels

+ Using customer research and competitor intelligence, develop product positioning and messaging, including differentiators and use cases

+ Regularly report out on product marketing activities across various stakeholder and aligning with appropriate executives to support product marketing initiatives

+ Own the entire life cycle of the digital product message

+ Role may require ~25% travel to Southeast Michigan if based outside. May require occasional travel to customer sites or marketing events as needed.

You’ll have…

+ Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience

+ 6+ years proven experience in digital product marketing, including strong domain experience in electrification or charging

+ 3+ years experience working as a product marketing manager on SaaS products for B2B enterprise level accounts

+ 3+ years extensive industry experience in charging software and hardware products with clear examples on how to position product against the competition

+ 3+ year of experience effectively working across all levels in agile manner to achieve organizational objectives, making and articulating design decisions, while listening to feedback

+ 3+ years experience as people leader, developing, managing, and mentoring product marketing talent

+ 3+ years experience using data and insights to drive toward successful product marketing outcomes

+ 3+ years experience developing and presenting product marketing plans and concepts at an executive level

+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field, MBA

+ A track record of success as a storyteller, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, create clarity, and lead through ambiguity in a complex, matrixed organization.

+ Proven track record of collaborating with product marketers and engineers to create compelling content that translates to product value.

+ Demonstrated ability to turn complex scientific and technical concepts to ideas and communications that resonate with customers.

+ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with an ability to read and understand product requirements

+ Ability to multi-task, context switch, flex roles based on experience and self-prioritize tasks based on demand and organization priorities

+ The ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate these into compelling, commercial, customer focused communications.

+ Must collaborate with customers, product leads, design leads, sales, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create customer centric messaging

+ Influence product direction through effective storytelling that conveys a compelling product vision to secure buy-in from cross-product stakeholders

+ Strong understanding of all elements of the product life cycle and how product marketing fits into this as well as hands on product management experience leading a product would be highly desired
