We are currently looking for a Supervisor of Mail Services to join our team and rise to the challenge of empowering service. Position Highlights:

Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the Mail Service Center including job assignments, scheduling for all outgoing domestic and international shipments, handling and distributing incoming and outbound mail, processing statements and handling of mailings.

What You’ll Do:

+ Ensures effective department operations by developing schedules, assigning, and monitoring work. Ensures the productivity and quality of the department staff is optimal.

+ Oversees incoming and outgoing mail for LCI/F Operates mailroom machinery including postage metering and document insertion equipment, performs basic maintenance as needed.

+ Maintains and develops records for billing, inventory, mailing and parcel shipping.

+ Orders materials and supplies needed. Monitors inventory always ensuring adequate resources.

+ Maintains and fosters a customer service approach across the department staff. Develops and maintains relationships with LCI/F staff, vendors, and others.

+ Oversees and manages mail center budget with manager.

+ Negotiates maintenance and new purchase contracts for machinery with manager.

+ Hires and trains mail center staff.

+ Maintains product or supply inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and

expediting orders and verifying receipt.

+ Coordinates efforts with other department managers on cross-functional mailings and

projects.

+ Recommends and/or implements department plans and goals and monitors progress.

+ Educates other staff regarding department policies and procedures.

+ Reviews and/or analyzes reports or other data pertaining to department programs or projects.

+ Prepares reports as necessary to communicate and evaluate information.

+ Manages employees including, recruitment, work assignments, development and performance management.

+ Ensures compliance with headquarter human resource policies and procedures.

+ Develops and recommends operational standards, policy and/or procedures.

We’re Looking for Someone With:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

+ A minimum of one to three years in a leadership role.

+ Experience working in a mail center; working knowledge of US and International postage regulations.

+ Demonstrated experience successfully managing a high volume of work and ability to meet deadlines.
