Aon Is Looking for an Environmental Risk Insurance Broker

This will be a hybrid-remote role working from our Chicago, IL office location. + Provide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, relationship manage and originators.

+ Identify new environmental opportunities in order to facilitate growth.

+ Identify and analyze client environmental liability exposures.

+ Facilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with client, relationship managers, originators and service center support.

+ Finalize market submission and product design options clients, relationship managers, and originators.

+ Build and maintain detailed knowledge of environmental liability insurance marketplace, products and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters.

+ Provide continuous support and service to clients during entire marketing process and entire period of engagement by client (this is a continuous process)

+ Drive utilization of all available technology throughout marketing process and service process

+ Understand the causes of E&O and avoid and embrace practices to reduce exposure.

+ Implement best practices.

+ Replicate effective products/solutions across syndication.

+ Retain and grow assigned clients/prospects.

+ Adhere to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior in all activities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success Required Experience:

+ 3+ years of related environmental broking experience.

+ Advanced degree in geology , chemistry, environmental sciences preferred.

+ Solid understanding or experience with environmental (pollution) management and compliance

+ Understand and relate technical environmental reports and documents to risk and exposure scenarios.

+ Prioritize multiple demands for time and input from variety of sources including internal and external clients.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

+ P&C License

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree

Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 – $170,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL.
