Technical Skills (Required) • Must have the ability to learn and do quality/statistical analysis and have basic computer skills. (Desired) • Knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations. Soft Skills (Required) • Demonstrated excellent project management skills, team leadership skills, and excellent communication skills (Desired) • Must be very customer focused and can drive change throughout the enterprise effectively. Must be able to manage risk and ambiguity on a project. Position’s Contributions to Work Group: • This position will lead 6 Sigma Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) projects within Drivetrain (Torque Convertors, Transmissions, Axles, Final Drives, Electric Drive, & CVTs) across a broad range of machines. • Work towards a large reduction in customer defects & bottom line warranty expense, while ultimately improving the customer & dealer experience. Typical task breakdown: • Manage approximately 10-12 CPI projects across various stages of implementation, lead regular cross functional team meetings or workshops to define the problem, create a project plan, implement immediate customer containment actions, identify & investigate issue root causes, facilitate solution(s) creation, validation, and implementation. Interaction with team: • Work throughout the value streams to ensure solutions are implemented worldwide optimally, regularly creating/updating publications & systems for communication to worldwide dealers, regularly summarizing reporting to leaders/clients/dealers on project status and escalating appropriately when roadblocks are encountered Work environment: • Office environment w/ several in-person & virtual meetings/collaboration. • Occasional visits/work at production, supplier, or R&D facilities.
