Job Description
W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer with the following duties: Develop, create, and modify existing data software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware and improve its performance; Analyze user needs and software and data requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; Design and Develop Custom Business Proxies for Person and Organization model and external rule for Al merge; MDM Extensions and Additions to cater the new attributes in the Data Model; Modify the Survivorship rules to collapse the non-transactional data; Collapse of over 3 million duplicate match suspect organizational data to create golden records along with Large Organizational data cleanup; Research all the Information management Critical and Complex Issues in MDM space of very high volume impact; Modify External Rule to delete inactive collapsed data, create new proxies to obfuscate data, create Purge process to delete associated inactivated Source Party data for CCPA implementation; End to End (Inbound & Outbound) Data integration with consumer and Sources of MDM; Initiatives in Data Quality, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Governance; Communication with business and taking care of end to end implementations. Working to improve site performance; Accurately estimating and tracking your time across multiple simultaneous projects; Ability to learn and adapt to new software/hardware technology and incorporate into production process; Confer with analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design management and warehouse, and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Solution the Software design applying modern day technologies. Up to 50% remote work allowed.
