Engagement Services Communication Consultant Alight's Engagement Services Practice is seeking a Communication Consultant to join our team. Our consultants are passionate about developing creative strategies to solve problems, shift perceptions, and drive employee behaviors for our clients. As an Engagement Services Communication Consultant, you will apply your effective communication, change management, and consulting skills to serve our clients and their people. You will manage client and internal relationships, and lead communication projects and workstreams for select clients. You are a skilled communication strategist, writer, and editor who confidently guides your internal team of content developers, designers, project managers, and technical experts. You also will contribute to business development initiatives and practice growth. This is a virtual / work-from-home / remote opportunity available anywhere in the U.S. The Communication Consultant's responsibilities include: Planning the development of effective multi-media communication and change management campaigns that inspire consumers to take action for their wellbeing Managing large, complex client projects and relationships in the areas of HR programs and total rewards, financial, physical and mental wellbeing, and employee engagement workstreams Staying current with industry and communication trends to anticipate client needs, and demonstrating fluency with delivery channels Consulting with select clients at the senior HR level Creating and nurturing strong client relationships, becoming their trusted partner and influential advisor on communication and Engagement Services issues Helping to build and lead cohesive, high-impact teams, leveraging colleague skills and talents Extending and expanding work with existing or new clients Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, creating proposals and advancing sales initiatives, and financial management Required skills, experience, and technical knowledge: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating creativity as well as HR, benefits, and well-being expertise Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience Demonstrated ability to write and guide others to write compelling communication materials for a variety of audiences and media to engage and help employees support their wellbeing Comfortable with engaging with and presenting to clients Able to assimilate source materials, input from subject matter experts, and other relevant documentation to create strategic recommendations and content Able to understand role on project/team, while going beyond to add value Able to collaborate efficiently and effectively with clients and colleagues Accountable for assignments/projects to ensure they're delivered with excellence and profitability Demonstrated experience in coaching, leading, and/or managing people Able to partner with subject matter experts from other lines of business Can learn and apply new technologies Software fluency, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat Excellent organizational and project management skills Demonstrated presentation, business development, and selling skills Flexibility to travel (up to 15%) Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related...
