Summary of Position:

Provide level 3 advanced support for applications and systems enterprise wide. Coordinate support with vendors and business units to maximize system uptime and performance. Perform both on-prem and cloud-based application-level upgrades. Collaborate with internal and external IT operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable operations of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

Major Functions:

Support Functions

+ Serve as third level support for enterprise applications.

+ Research and resolve complex problems with IT teams and vendors.

+ Responsible for maintenance of applications including upgrades, patches, hotfixes, etc.

+ Monitor application performance to ensure uptime and performance.

+ Work alongside the support teams to ensure smooth transition of new applications, accompanying maintenance tasks and support functions.

+ Coordinate communications with technical support staff and operations management for upgrades, outages, and enhancements.

Project Functions

+ Perform system, integration, and functional verification tests for software; coordinate user acceptance testing; review test results with user and obtain user approval.

+ Provide change control documentation and obtain approvals with the change approval board.

+ Recommend solutions or alternatives to the project team to meet end-user needs or to help users perform their job more efficiently.

+ Assess user, application, and business operational impact of project related work.

+ Evenings, weekends, or non-regular hours will be required.

+ Collaborate with teams to meet project timelines and needs.

Basic Qualifications:

+ 7 years’ experience required working with enterprise applications and servers.

+ Working knowledge of SaaS, Cloud, server infrastructure and application technologies.

+ 5 years’ experience required working with the Microsoft Suite.

+ Working knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, Storage, Drive mappings, Shares, Ports, SQL, Websites, SSL Certificates, Registry and Operating systems.

+ 5 years’ experience working with end users and providing production support.

+ Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

+ Experience administering and maintaining a Broker Management Systems i.e.; Epic, TAM, Sagitta or AMS360.

+ Previous experience in the Insurance industry.

+ PowerShell scripting, knowledge of programming language (.Net, Java Script, C++, Python)

Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, this position is open to remote candidates.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
