Pay: $24-27/hr
Shift: 2 nd shift (Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm)
Job Type: Contract (1 year)
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct experiments and research activities in the field of biology under the guidance of senior researchers.
+ Perform sample preparation, data collection, and analysis using various laboratory techniques.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including microscopes, autoclaves, and other relevant instruments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
+ Document and report experimental procedures, results, and observations.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Biology with some laboratory experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with Biology minor.
+ Associate’s degree with 1-2 years of industry laboratory experience.
+ Familiarity with general lab equipment (microscope, autoclave).
