The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Manager of System Configuration & Installation to join our Group Protection Claims & Operations Team in one of the following key city offices (Dover, NH; Omaha, NE;).

Background Details

As the Manager of System Configuration & Installation, you will provide leadership, coaching and development to your team of approximately 6 direct reports (including a Supervisor and their respective direct reports) who will be either configuring and installing our new cases during the onboarding process or onboarding FMLA and respective FMLA takeover for our customers. You will be responsible for managing and creating an environment that supports the customer-centric strategy, vision, and priorities of the organization. What you’ll be doing

+ Manages team and processes for the System Configuration & Installation team.

+ Responsible for ensuring workloads are appropriately balanced among team members and within established turnaround times.

+ Partners with internal Leadership to ensure common goals are met and/or exceeded.

+ Builds organizational capacity by identifying and recommending process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality and turn around times.

+ Serves as a resource to team members and internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects.

+ Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with

Leadership to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

+ Manages and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise

initiatives.

+ Establishes and implements individual and team priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure completion of responsibility.

+ Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the

development of talent.

+ Manages and evaluates individual/team performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards.

+ Serves as a resource to team members and internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects.

+ Ensures that top talent is hired and retained.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) (Minimum Required)

- 5+ Years of experience in customer service environment directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this role

- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Nice-to-have experience (Preferred):

- 2+ years of progressively responsible experiences including leadership or supervisory experience.

- Ability to balance competing priorities (system, customer, broker) and ability to lead a team.

- Ability to prioritize and continuously improve processes, procedures, systems, and the team.

Pay Range: $67,000 – $120,700

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
