As a Senior Consultant, Value Engineering, a typical day will include the following:
Responsibilities:
Effectively execute all value-based activities in the sales cycle to drive customer consumption and remain engaged with customers ensuring successful value realization through their Alight journey
Conduct quantitative analysis, ROI modeling, and value realization benchmarking
Create & deliver business value deliverables to customer CXO roles
Drive business value discovery workshops with CXO, BU leads and practitioners
Support the development of new value assets, tools and collateral, helping develop the practice
Educate Alight sales teams on value engineering best practices to improve value-based selling
Skills and Experience:
5+ years of professional experience, preferably prior experience in technology or business consulting
HR and Payroll industry experience strongly preferred
Success in designing and driving customer engagement (e.g., facilitating management and leadership workshops, Experience with IT / business alignment issues, etc.)
Experience with business case development/financial modeling
Strong background in analytics and strong business acumen
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of value selling processes and methodology an asset
Strong level of personal organization with excellent oral/written (PowerPoint) communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA an asset or equivalent work experience
