Job Description
CH Total Corp (Northbrook, IL) seeks a Facilities Manager to manage a cleaning team assigned to buildings, hospitals, sites, and other facilities. Specific duties include: regular inspection of the facility to determine any unusual or recurring work that needs to be done; conducting interviews, make selections, train, supervise, guide, and discipline cleaning service staff to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction; communicating to clients regarding complaints, investigate, and correct any anomalies to reassure clients of the company’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction; allocating chores to workers and inspect work afterward to ensure it is performed to meet standards; certifying that equipment is safe to use and in good working condition; making sure all employees follow company standards by constantly coaching and redirecting performance; driving to every location with the team along with supplies in an official vehicle; supervising the performance of the cleaning team; supporting in maintaining a highly trained and motivated staff that constantly strives for excellence in cleanliness and service; maintaining conversation with clients regarding appointment time, and the period of cleaning; ensuring that the contract keeps within budget at all times; managing an agreed budget set for specific objectives; providing monthly reports on key segment activities and financial reports; maintaining supplies of cleaning materials and equipment, keeping check of what will be required and placing orders to maintain stock levels; testing new products and equipment and obtain the best value on purchases.
