They are taking old PLC controls and replacing with new Allen Bradley PLCs to the Tech Center test cells. Needs someone who can do AutoCAD prints and work with team lead to determine electrical schematics and layouts. They will generate electrical schematics in AutoCAD to hand over to electricians. At first, will be taking rough prints and detailing and refining them, making modifications as things change. Eventually they will move into creating these prints from scratch. That is the primary function of the role. Will also work with SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system that monitors the building systems and sends error codes when there are issues. For example – the buildings water cooling system may have an issue where the water is getting too hot due to a failure, the SCADA system will detect this issue and send an error code. This role will write the code and architect this system, creating the interface. But the primary function of this role is the AutoCAD electrical Design.
